Monster Season
As part of its monster season, the Canadian park has also introduced Dinosaurs Alive, an animatronic dinosaur park featuring 40 life-sized animatronic creatures set in a seven-acre themed environment. The experience also features a dig site where kids are encouraged to help uncover the skeleton of a large predator that lies buried in the sand. For those few other operators in the fortunate position of considering a coaster of Leviathan’s scale, Pirtovshek suggests, “Choose the most cost effective site and start construction early. It will keep you on budget and on time.” Now that Leviathan is open – on budget and on time – Canada’s Wonderland can expect a season as big as its new ride.
