So, why did Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari want to beat its own world record with Mammoth so soon after installing Wildebeest? Dan Koch, park

Coaster.,Wildebeest was such a hit that folks can’t wait to try the new big brother,” he continues. “I was the first to ride and all I can say is, “Wow!” Mammoth does not disappoint. In fact, I can’t wait to get on it again!” Koch says the park chose to work with ProSlide again because, “They’re the best” and notes construction went relatively smoothly due to a mild winter in Indiana. One of the biggest challenges was swinging the huge fibreglass channels into place on the hillside. At $9 million, the new attraction represents the largest single-ride investment in Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari’s history. Also new this season is Sparkler, a 65ft vertical swing from Zamperla, plus cabanas in the waterpark and special events including a Christian music festival and Happy Halloween Weekends.
