Newtanning cabin opens
Derby is now host to the sixth flagship Tanning Cabin store across theMidlands and is set to be the biggest.
The state-of-the-art Tanning Salon, Beauty Salon, Spray Tan and Flabelos Studio in Chaddesden Derby, features all the latest sunbeds and beauty therapy facilities.
The salon boasts 14 different treatment rooms, a try before you buy station and a make-up zone.
Back in January, Tanning Cabin’s Director Mark Jackson and his wife Teresa, who co- owns the business, held a recruitment day, creating ten new jobs in a variety of areas including management, team leaders, tanning consultant, nail technicians and beauty therapists.
Hundreds of young hopefuls queued outside the salon and bothMark and Teresa, who fully trained the successful candidates, were overwhelmed by the response.
“The quality of candidates we saw was outstanding and we have easily filled the roles available for our Derby store,” commentedMark.
He added: “The roles were open to everyone and no experience was required. The main qualities that we were looking for were enthusiasm for our brand and the beauty industry.”

Wow Factor is proud to welcome back Bev Rose, who will be spray tan training in the Lincolnshire area.
Bev had been working withWow Factor for her area very successfully for quite some time but due to
increase in demand has now set up a dedicated salon with staff, which enables her to focusmore on the training side of things and gives her the time she needs to spend with students to help themget up and running in their new venture.

The DermaSpa Clinic is owned by internationally renowned expert Nilam Patel, and since opening has been visited by a number of high-profile clients, including Katie Price,Alexandra Burke, Jenny Frost and The Saturdays.
