REPIC prefers to partner directly with Local Authorities, or the companies managing their sites, in order to collect the WEEE it is required to finance for its members. By working directly with a Producer Compliance Scheme such as REPIC, local authorities can be sure that WEEE is sent to an approved treatment facility in the UK, a full audit trail can be provided and any unnecessary handling or transactions are removed. REPIC is seeking more direct relationships. Any transition to REPIC is seamless.
