March 4 at the Omni Hotel in New Haven. Keynote speaker Dr. Mary Jane Minkin will share her humor and wealth of knowledge as a Certified Menopause Clinician and OB- GYN. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in sessions with health and wellness professionals, such as: Pilates, Yoga, or Tai Chi class; Learning about HPV, heart and breast health; Discovering self hypnosis, home-spa remedies, aroma- therapy and clean eating;

sure checks, skin, oral health and glaucoma screenings, and glucose analysis. A variety of vendors will offer product sam- ples, information and local artisans’ crafts. individuals and families meet the challenges of daily living and personal development through education, enrichment, support and referral services. Most programs are offered free of charge and scholarships are available for those events that have a fee. Eat Right, Think Right, Live Right

ating healthfully is a cornerstone to well-being and Seema Dasani, a certified wellness coach, will share informa- tion about good nutrition practices when she presents the workshop, “Eat Right, Think Right, Live Right,” on Monday, February 27. Scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., the event will be held in the Mancheski Executive Seminar Room of the Lender School of Business Center at Quinnipiac Uni- versity. This program is free and open to the public. Dasani overcame her own personal issues with weight and emo- tional eating and now uses her experience and expertise to help others achieve wellness across key aspects of their lives. Most recently, in her role as vice president of wellness programs at Eat Right America, Dasani worked with Whole Foods Market to develop its Global Health Starts Here initia- tive, which is geared towards empowering people to eat right and live healthier lives.
