TOURIST INFO

ON THE MOvE

The Tourism Information Centre is on the move! We are moving from our current home on Clifton Street to our brand new location, Festival House, which is situated on the Tower Festival Headland, across the promenade from Blackpool Tower. Make sure that you pop by and say hello!

Our fantastic new venue will feature state of the art screens to give you a taster of everything Blackpool has to offer, without leaving the TIC. Look out for our new range of Blackpool merchandise, there are plenty of funky items and keepsakes to remind you of your holidays. As always, we are happy to answer any queries that you might have and help you plan your stay in the resort. We can help you with everything from finding accommodation to booking tickets for one of the many fantastic shows taking place in the resort.

In addition to being the new home of the TIC, Festival house will also be home to Blackpool’s fantastic new Wedding Chapel. The chapel is an amazing new low-carbon wedding venue with breathtaking, romantic views across the beach and sea. Festival house will also be home to a fabulous new restaurant, and with its prime location on Blackpool’s world famous promenade, what better place to enjoy a bite to eat whilst enjoying the amazing views!

The £15.5m Festival headland juts out into the sea beneath the Tower. It features the Comedy Carpet, an art installation set into the headland featuring hundreds of hilarious quotes and sketches from well known comedians. In addition, there will be a 20,000 capacity open air arena designed to host world class events. The arena can be fitted with temporary staging and boasts projectable lights and removable wind shields. It's certainly going to be an experience not to be missed.
