When a reader of U magazine wrote into the beauty pages of the magazine asking for a recommendation for a self tanning product that didn’t streak or smell, beauty editor Aisling was quick to recommend Vita Liberata’s Sheer Silken Mousse, which has a brown guide colour so that users can see exactly where they’re putting it, as well as very little scent.
Wow Factor’s Organics retail range has received the thumbs up from the Daily Mail. The newspaper tried and tested organic tanning products for the best in application, feel, fragrance, performance and fade-off. James Read, Britain’s leading self-tanning guru, particularly liked the Tan Enhancer.
With Winter upon us, Tatler put healing hand creams to the test and amongst the products tried and tested was Voya’s Handy to Have Hand Crème, which scored an impressive 23 out of 25. The tester commented on the product saying: “Lovely scent, easily absorbed. Irish and organic, I’d definitely recommend.”
In aid of Breast Cancer Awareness month U magazine put together a feature raising awareness of breast cancer and showcased some gorgeous gifts all in aid of cancer charities. Amongst the pink pickings, we spotted Guinot’s Lait and Lotion Hydea Fraîcheur in a pretty case. Who doesn’t love a bit of pink? Especially when it’s for a good cause!

When interviewed in Stella magazine, Kim Kardashian boasted that OPI is a ‘must- have’ make-up bag product, listing Lincoln Park After Dark as one of her favourite shades. She commented: “I always have my nails painted and try to have a manicure every five to six days. I love OPI’s grey, blue and burgundy shades.”
It’s been the month for all things pink in the glossies, all in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness month of course, and Tatler showcased Darphin’s Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum amongst its pretty pink pages and Darphin promised to donate €7 to Cancer Clinical Research Trust for each of the serums sold.
