The finalists have been announced for the Dublin Beauty Salon of the Year at the Dublin Living Awards, and the list includes award-winning Asu Nail & Beauty Salon in Swords.
The salon, opened by Suzanne Alcock in 2005, is a sister company of Asu Nail & Beauty Supplies / Training Academy.
Asu are up against Carter Beauty, Coogin Bergin Clinic and College, Essentials Beauty Salon, Lemons Beauty Salon, Nu Essence Beauty Salon and Therapie Clinic.
And thewinner is…OPI!
The team at Hennessy Hair and Beauty have been celebrating recently, with a host of accolades awarded to the OPI brand.
OPI Top Coat has been named Best Nail Care Product and 'You Don't Know Jacques' warm brown lacquer Best Varnish Colour at the Look Fantastic consumer awards.
Meanwhile, customers of TV shopping channel QVC have named OPI's Nail Envy Best Nail Product in the annual QVC Customer Beauty Awards 2011.
Plus, at the Teen Vogue Awards, OPI nail lacquer was voted Best Nail Polish by readers in the Best Body Products category, whilst Oprah magazine listed zesty orange 'Ya'll Come Back Ya Hear?' as Best Juiciest Colour in the O-awards!

The champagne was flowing at Bella Mia Beauty Salon's launch event for the Dermedique range of skin care.
Owner of the Arklow salon Michelle O'Reilly welcomed Noiren Carrigg and Conor Brady of Carrigg Brady Beauty, distributors of the Dermedique range, to the salon to celebrate. One lucky customer attending on the launch won a goody bag featuring products from the range.
Dermedique was also recently introduced to clients of Elle Beauty in Tralee, Co. Kerry, owned by Leonie Murphy.
Created by a dermatologist, Dermedique Skincare features a unique line of products which utilise alpha / beta hydroxy acids, retinol, antioxidants, vitamins and botanicals.

New York's Times Square went Shellac crazy during New York Fashion Week, as 60 Broadway dancers appeared from the hustle and bustle to sing and dance the praises of CND Shellac!
This is said to have been one of the biggest and most exciting Flash Mobs ever in Times Square, and starred Broadway's Robyn Hurder and Moeisha Mcgill singing a Shellac'd version of Aretha Franklin's hit RESPECT.
