Paul Stanfield, FEIFA Now based in the UK, after many years living and working on the continent, Paul is responsible for the day-to-day management of the European IFA trade association FEIFA (
www.feifa.eu), including the assessment of prospective Members and the development of the Federation’s marketing and promotions activities. FEIFA stands for the Federation of European Independent Financial Advisors.
Handan Lale Strachan, IPLC Handan was born in Istanbul in 1969 and is a graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Law LLB. Lale is a member and registered lawyer of the Istanbul Bar Association. Lale has been providing consultancy services specialising in Turkish property investment and legal advice as the current head of Turkish Law Department within the International Property Law Centre LLP.
John Watson, private investor in Turkey Currently John works as a self-employed consultant (mainly for the exhibition and graphics industry). He became a private investor in Turkish property following the sale of his former company, Viva Imaging Limited, two years ago to a Nottingham-based Company, John E Wright Ltd. John was the 100% shareholder of Viva Imaging Ltd and the business had been in existence since the end of 1990 / early 1991.
Suleyman Akbay, Oceanwide Properties Suleyman Akbay is the managing director of Oceanwide Properties Limited, a real estate company specialising in the Turkish property market. Before the launch of Oceanwide Properties, Suleyman worked as a financial controller in one of the big hotel chains. He is truly multi-lingual having spent his adult working life in the UK after spending his childhood in Germany with Turkish parents. Suleyman speaks perfect German, English and Turkish.
Richard Cash, Invest in Brazil Richard Cash is a partner in Invest in Brazil Ltd, Winner of 2010 OPP Best Developer Award and 2011 AIPP Best Developer – The Americas. Regarded as a market leader in international Brazilian real estate investment and property development, Richard and Invest in Brazil have numerous years experience in operating exclusively in Brazilian property investment, and are part of a highly successful Anglo-Brazilian developer collective, responsible for the award-winning Tambaba Country Club Resort in north east Brazil.
Daniel Fisher, Physical Gold Daniel is a member of the Institute of Financial Planning and has worked in the investment banking industry for nearly 15 years. He spent much of that time working within the new issue, fixed income division of a top-tier US bank. In his role there, he traded a large book of fixed income securities, raised capital for some of the largest government, financial, and corporate institutions in the world, and advised the leading global institutional investors.
