Marc Da Silva, property journalist Freelance property journalist Marc Da Silva has written for a wide range of publications, including the Daily Mail, Daily Express, Daily Mirror, Sunday Business Post, The Times, Homes Overseas, A Place in the Sun, LOFT and Citywire, amongst others. He has spoken at many leading international property events and has provided expert property comments for TV & radio.
Peter Bolton King, National Federation of Property Professionals Peter Bolton King started work in 1973 with a leading Warwickshire firm of chartered surveyors and estate agents, Locke & England. After working in different departments he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and became the firm’s youngest-ever partner. In 1987, the business was sold to Lloyds Bank, and Peter Bolton King became an area director. In July 2003, Peter became Chief Executive of the National Association of Estate Agents, the largest professional body for UK estate agents. Currently representing many associations on various Government committees, he also holds a number of other industry board appointments of behalf of the National Federation of Property Professionals. These include ICREA, FIABCI, Asset Skills and The Property Ombudsman (TPO) Board and Council.
Robert Whitton, Whitton International Robert Whitton co-founded aAIM Group Limited with City financier Mark Tagliaferri, formally of Nomura Principle Finance, in 2003 with Sir Alex Ferguson as one of its founder shareholders. Under Robert’s leadership as CEO from 2003 to 2007, aAIM Group transacted more than £3.5 billion of property deals in the UK and Europe, and built a large and diverse portfolio. Robert resigned as aAIM’s CEO and in November 2007 co-founded ROM Capital with Daren Burney as a niche investor and asset management company, employing a ‘value-add strategy’ to real estate opportunities and specialising in the acquisition of private property companies and multi-use portfolios. In 2009, Robert established Whitton International to develop iconic luxury hotels and private residences in the most exclusive and sought-after destinations across the world.
Stefano Lucatello, The International Property Law Centre LLP Stefano launched The International Property Law Centre LLP in 2003 - and on 1st October 2008 the company became an LLP. He is experienced in commercial law, sports law, player management and international property law and now manages one of the largest International Property Law practices in the United Kingdom. He is also the Italian Consular Agent for Kingston-upon-Hull and the North East of England, where he represents the Interests of the Italian Government. He is a fluent speaker of Italian, Spanish, French and German.
