IC Bellagio – appearing with Travel Alliance at this year’s ILTM – are true Italian experts. The IC Bellagio ‘Parmesan and Balsamic vinegar tour’ around Modena for example, incorporates the truly authentic experience of a meal in a restaurant attached to a working farm or ‘agriturismo’. Guests are invited to take part in a cookery lesson in a private home where they are welcomed as part of the family, learning regional Italian recipes that have been literally handed down from generation to generation - cooking with a real ‘Italian mamma’! The tour takes in Emilia Romagna – often referred to as the food capital of Italy. Many towns within this region, including Bologna, are burgeoning with incredible history and the city even hosts a gastronomic walking tour where guests are encouraged to stop at each of the traditional bottegas to taste local products en route.


IC Bellagio also champions Tuscany’s famous wines, offering a dedicated wine-tasting tour at the famous Antinori estate. The experience includes a fantastic Italian lunch during which guests can learn about wine decanting, the correct use of the wine glass and the correct choice of wine to accompany a second course dish.
