For its 6th Fashion Pastry Collection, the famous Cafe de la Paix pays homage to the irrefutable explosion of creativity from tomorrow’s superpowers and has asked the greatest designers from the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) to create a dessert; “The BRIC: so chic!”

Inventive and flamboyant: such is Best of Five, the patisserie designed exclusively by Manish Arora for Café de la Paix. In the form of a pyramid comprising several heart-shaped layers each of a different size, flavour and texture, the luxurious creation is entirely faithful to the spirit and style of the fashion design who is known for his signature non conformist style of bright colours and exotic combinations.

Limited edition available from October 16th, 16€ each

Moist waffles,

traditional jam and homemade gingerbread, Tagada strawberries and marshmallow teddy‑bears:

for its Sunday brunch, the Cafe de la Paix issues an invitation to rediscover the warmth and sweetness of childhood. Under the aegis of Chef Christophe Raoux, the restaurant offers a brunch which puts the emphasis on fresh and authentic produce prepared on the premises: crisp pastries, cooked‑to‑order crepes, traditional marmalades, an exceptionally diverse dessert buffet and an avalanche of delicacies, all evoking the nostalgic feelings of childhood. The above is accompanied by a savoury buffet, seafood, joints of meat cut on the spot and “family” dishes. And, attentive to the parents, the Cafe de la Paix has designed a space where children can have fun during the meal, finding out all about the capital and its cultural diversity – while the grownups enjoy to the full their nostalgic rediscovery of the flavours of childhood.
