OKAVANGO DELTA, MOREMI GAME RESERVE The largest inland delta on earth and without doubt Botswana’s most famous natural feature. The Okavango is a remarkable network of lagoons and channels that flood annually. Located in the midst of this expanse of unparalleled beauty, covering 20% of its area is the Moremi Game Reserve, home to an array of wildlife.


MOKORING THE DELTA The mokoro, a dugout canoe made from a single tree, is the perfect craft for negotiating the shallow waters of the delta, with its streamlined shape gently and silently gliding through the narrow channels. Mokoros are synonymous with the Delta and, today are an experience not to be missed if visiting the Okavango.


OKUTI CAMP Lying besides the Maunachira River, within Moremi Game Reserve, Okuti offers excellent year round game viewing opportunities. Ideal for families with 2 family units and catering for a maximum of 18 guests, the camp provides superb facilities and a chance to explore the Delta’s lagoons and waterways.


LITTLE VUMBURA Set on an island at the northern fringes of the Okavango Delta, Little Vumbura is a beautifully located camp that focuses on water based activities, with mokoros and motor boats providing perfect safari vehicles. Its 6 spacious tents have en suite facilities, whilst its plunge pool overlooks the floodplains.


SHINDE CAMP, OKAVANGO DELTA An intimate refuge of calm on a lush palm island in the heart of the northern Okavango Delta. Shinde Camp has 8 twin-bedded safari tents with en suite bathrooms. Sited to offer fabulous views of the Delta, the camp’s situation on a private concession allows for exclusive guided walks, mokoro trips and night safaris.
