Oonagh’s verdict…
“As Elaine has her own salon Bespoke Beauty where she uses all Académie skin care; she is well used to looking after her skin.
“I recommend that she has the Optimum Hydration facial every four weeks as her skin can get very dehydrated working in TV.
Oonagh: Do you tan?
Elaine: Yes I have sallow skin thanks to my Mum and Dad but I am careful when it comes to the sun especially on my face. I use factor 50 on my face and factor 30 on my body, but as I have a very busy schedule and don’t get much time off for sunning I use my old reliable Bronz’Express Tanning Lotion.
Oonagh: Are you an Irish beauty? Elaine: I think that’s for others to decide!
Oonagh: Who would you consider to be an Irish beauty?
Elaine: Virginia Macari, as without make-up she is stunningly beautiful both inside and out. Rosanna Davison is constantly under public scrutiny to look her best and she won Miss World so she is definitely beautiful.
Oonagh: Are Irish women beautiful and if so why?
Elaine: Yes we have some stunning looking girls and ladies from Georgia Salpa to Celia Holman Lee.
Oonagh: What mistakes do Irish women make?
Elaine: Not looking after their skin properly by not having a good skin care regime or having regular facials - make-up doesn’t hide black heads and blemishes!
I know that having facials can seem expensive but looking after your skin properly is an investment. I would forego a night out anytime to have a good facial.
