Thalasso Spa named reader’s favourite
Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa has received the prestigious Readers’ Choice Award for Favourite Spa in Ireland by SpaFinder Inc.
Readers cast a record number of votes in the eighth- annual Awards, which recognise Spas around the globe across 31 unique categories from ‘Best for Affordability’ to ‘Best for Men’ to ‘Best for Romance’.

Ayurveda comes to theWest
The country’s only dedicated Ayurvedic health and well-being Spa has opened at the Carlton Atlantic Coast in Westport, Co. Mayo.
Treatments are provided by the C-Spa’s fully qualified team of practitioners from South India, led by Dr Thomas Pampackel who spent five years as an Ayurvedic Medical Student and has worked in prestigious hospitals and Spas in his native Kerala.
“I am very much looking forward to introducing Ayurveda and all its great healing powers to the people of the west of Ireland and hopefully much beyond,” Dr Thomas Pampackel told IB.

ShaolinMaster comes to Enniscorthy
Monart Destination Spa at The Still Enniscorthy in Co. Wexford is playing host to a Shaolin Master.
Master Zheng has travelled to Monart from a Shaolin Temple located in Dengfeng City, Henan Province, China, and has trained all his life to become a Shaolin Master.
Whilst at the Spa he will teach and perform different areas of Shaolin life and Chinese culture including Meditation, Qi-Gong, T’ai Chi, Shaolin Massage and Kung Fu.
