Well known to soap fans as Orla from Fair City, actress and singer Sorcha Furlong, 33, has been on our screens for the past ten years. After taking a few months off to have her first baby, Stella, the actress has recently returned to our screens. Oonagh Clarke catches up with her to discuss babies, beauty and Botox™...
Oonagh: I have to say you look amazing for a woman who has recently had a baby. Tell me how you do it?
Sorcha: Thank you very much, but I certainly don’t feel I look great! Being a mother is the best thing in the world, but it’s tough trying to get back into work. Having said that, I had to come back to RTÉ looking like Orla - she hasn’t had a baby, so there are no excuses!

Oonagh: Would you consider Botox™?
Sorcha: It has crossed my mind, but I have never really considered it. I know some women my age are getting Botox™and fillers, but it’s not really for me right now. Having said that, never say never!
Oonagh: Could you live without make-up?
Sorcha: If you had have asked me a few years ago, I would have said never, but right now, sleep is the biggest beauty tonic I need!
Of course, I could live without make-up, but I would never want to. It covers a multitude and I have to wear tons of the stuff everyday in work and am constantly being touched up and powdered. When I am not working, I don’t really bother these days. Maybe just a touch of tinted moisturiser or something!
Oonagh: What’s your best feature?
Sorcha: I like my legs. Although I do suffer from cellulite and sometimes have that typical Irish corned beef look! I find fake tan helps and I love a nice healthy glow - in fact the darker the
