Boosting profits Dear Editor,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading Abbi Cox’s article on retailing to boost profits (The Soft Sell - Oct issue). I always find it difficult to motivate my staff to encourage clients to buy more products from us after their treatments, but we’ve all read the article and feel much more confident!

Darkly decadent To IB,
I just wanted to write to say how much pleasure I got from reading the ‘Darkly Decadent’ cosmetics feature in your October issue. As a manicurist I am always searching for new ideas and colours, and the feature gave me lots of inspiration! I have actually been giving my own Avatar inspired manicures using blue shades, they have gone down a treat with my clients!
