Dickies just the job for Toolbank

A wide range of Dickies protective clothing and footwear is to be stocked and distributed by Toolbank, the UK and Ireland’s leading distributor of tools, accessories and hardware products. With 11 branches supplying 13,000 retail outlets and a 100-strong on-the-road salesforce, the arrangement ensures that builders, engineers and hardware merchants throughout both countries can rely on having their own stocks of Dickies products topped up within 24/48 hours direct from Toolbank, as and when required.

Announcing the new association, Rob Haines, Dickies’ Regional Sales Director said: “There is a perfect synergy between ourselves and Toolbank as both companies are aiming at the same markets. Although we at Dickies have our own rapid and efficient distribution service direct to our own distributors, the extra coverage which

this arrangement affords provides a very valuable additional sales opportunity for both companies and increased profit potential for our combined stockists, resulting in an improved service to consumers who will have the items they want when they want them. “ Simon Bicknell, Sales Director for Toolbank added: “Our association with Dickies now allows us to provide an even more comprehensive service to our customers, as everyone who requires tools and equipment for any type of job needs to wear the appropriate safety clothing.”

The Dickies range will be available from all Toolbank outlets as from September 1st.
