The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing the product development process and customer interface, managing product engineering and program management, driving value engineering projects, supporting manu- facturing cost reduction initiatives, and providing engineering support to sales.


Job qualifications and skills: Bach- elor’s degree in Engineering, or equiva- lent, with 7-10 years of engineering man- agement experience in manufacturing (Foundry experience required). Strong leadership skills, good verbal and written communication skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of metallurgy, heat treating, machining and surface treatments.

The responsibilities include, but not limited to: overall quality working with both exter- nal and internal customers and managing the quality operating system. The position requires a metallurgical background along with strong metrology skills. The position requires hands-on approach to problem solving and driving improvements. Will en- sure success in areas such as product and process development and improvement, program and product launches along with other areas for possible Quality improve- ments. Computer proficiency in MS Office, as well as detailed knowledge of FMEA/ PPAP/APQP/MSA and SPC.


Job qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy/Quality or equivalent, with 7-10 years quality management experience in manufacturing with ISO 9001:2000 experience. Additionally IQMS experience preferable, but not necessary.
