British Jewellery & Giftware International
Importing and exporting can be a complicated business, and sometimes it would help to be able to get some friendly and informal advice from somebody who knows.
This year, in conjunction with the British Jewellery and Giftware’s International team, we have set up a ‘drop-in’ clinic for anyone with questions about import and export issues.
The clinic will take place on Tuesday 7 September at IJL – visitors and exhibitors are both welcome. To find out more, or to reserve your slot, go to
www.jewellerylondon.com/clinic or visit the British Jewellers’ Association on Stand C50.
Promoting Intellectual Property Rights (PIPR)
We believe that highly-prized original ideas deserve to be protected, which is why IJL, together with Royds Solicitors, is launching a new initiative at this year’s show – Promoting Intellectual Property Rights. For more details go to
www.jewellerylondon.com/pipr.
High Street by Design Competition
Launching at IJL 2010 is a brand-new jewellery design competition aimed at giving jewellery designers a unique opportunity to create a piece for Britain’s largest independent family jeweller, F. Hinds.
Created in co-operation between IJL and F. Hinds, the competition will have two entry categories, one for student designers and the other for established designers. The winning piece will be manufactured and sold in F. Hinds’ 109 high street stores across England and Wales.
Competition details and entry forms will be available to pick up at the show.
