TANZANIA


Home to the largest mountain in Africa, the world's largest game reserve, second only to the Serengeti in its concentration of wildlife, Tanzania has it all. However, despite being one of the Indian Ocean’s most renowned tropical paradises, Zanzibar’s local communities are severely affected by lack of education, training and unemployment. Years of socialism left the country as one of the poorest, the least developed and the most aid-dependent in the world.


Our volunteer programmes provide the opportunity to offer help to both the communities and wildlife in need.

NAMIBIA


Namibia is described as a dream like country, full of beauty and dripping in culture. In addition to having a striking diversity of cultures and national origins, Namibia is a photographer’s dream – it boasts wild seascapes, rugged mountains, lonely deserts, stunning wildlife, colonial cities and nearly unlimited elbow room. You will be struck by the friendliness of the Namibian people and the country’s perfect combination of city, sea and sand.


USIT offers a unique opportunity to volunteer in a Big Cat Rehabilitation and Conservation project.


Project Inclusions:


• Transfers to and from Windhoek International Airport • All accommodation, food and housekeeping costs • All game drives / activities, including the feeding run • All project related transportation and equipment required to carry out your project work


• 24 hour support and guidance from the project management team
