Sports Development Sports Development
Sport is a fundamental part of a child’s personal development. By interacting through sport and games, children learn valuable social skills and life lessons such as appreciation of teamwork, leadership, cooperation and, of course, exercise. Sport and exercise also allow children to develop their co-ordination skills, flexibility and balance. Studies have shown that sport can boost confidence levels in children, promotes a sense of wellbeing and improves concentration levels. For these reasons it is important that children are given the opportunity to participate in team sports and games.
