Containing nine of the world’s fourteen highest mountain peaks including Mount Everest, Nepal is a true Himalayan kingdom. It is also one of theWorld’s poorest countries.
Despite this, many visitors, drawn to Nepal by the promise of adventure, leave equally enchanted by the friendliness and openness of the Nepali people.
USIT provide projects varying from teaching English to the village children and adults, assisting in orphanages and working on environmental and community projects.

INDONESIA
Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago state compromising of over 1,700 islands and stretching across the equator for nearly 5,000 km.
It has suffered a turbulent history with natural disasters, corruption, separatism and periods of rapid economic change all posing challenges to the Indonesian people. Unfortunately a large proportion of Indonesia’s population still lives in poverty with rural areas being the hardest hit.
USIT provide volunteers with an opportunity to help the Indonesian people by getting involved with community work projects.

VIETNAM
Nature has blessed Vietnam with captivating beauty offering soaring mountains, a stunning coastline and radiant rice fields. The capital city, Hanoi, greets you with the sound of buzzingmotorbikes and screaming horns. A captivating city, Hanoi is a blend of Parisian grace and Asian pace. However if you find it too overwhelming, you can always escape to the quiet calm of Halong Bay.
Vietnam is a nation that has survived invasions, civil war, bombings, colonialism, communismand the people have finally emerged battered and bruised - but not defeated.
USIT offer volunteers the opportunity to get involved in community work in Vietnam. This community work focuses on education for children and motivating the local kids to learn English as well as other subjects.
