CODE OF CONDUCT All volunteers must adhere to the following:
• Respect the local communities, customs and traditions at all times
• Be aware of cultural sensitivities and to not impose one’s own beliefs
• Research the local traditions, customs and beliefs prior to travel and learn as much as possible about the environment • Be open minded.
WHY PAY TO VOLUNTEER? This is often asked about Volunteering. We pride ourselves on being able to offer genuine Volunteer opportunities on projects that are responsible and more importantly SUSTAINABLE. By funding your own Volunteer experience, YOU are ensuring that the projects are sustainable as it means they are not relying on charitable donations or government overseas aid to provide assistance. You are taking responsibility for your part in the project from start to finish and are covering all your own costs ensuring there is no additional financial strain placed on the projects you are visiting.
