member of the board of directors for Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA, formerly PMA), and sits on the Small Press Center’s Advisory Council.

SNCR.org), a Palo Alto based nonprofit global think tank dedicated to the advanced study of new and emerging media. He has managed Unlimited Publish- ing LLC, “The Professional POD Book Publisher™,” since 2000. Snow also works as a consultant to fellow authors and publish-
ers, as a public speaker, and as a journalist who has been widely quoted by major news media about new publishing and communication technologies. In 2009, he signed with Wiley & Sons as a contributor to its upcoming book titled Print on De- mand Book Publishing for Dummies.

Nancy Stewart, a 30-year veteran of the book industry, holds the position of lead buyer at Ingram Book Company where she oversees the buying and operations of a wide variety of publishers. Previously she was general manager of Mills Bookstores, an independent bookstore group in Nashville, Tennessee. Nancy is past president of the Women’s National Book Association and currently serves as WNBA representative to the United Nations. She has served as volunteer and book sales director for the Southern Festival of Books and president of the Nash- ville Area Booksellers Association.

Mark Suchomel has been with Chicago Review Press, Inc./Independent Publishers Group(IPG) since 1986, and president of IPG since 1998. He began his career in pub- lishing at Contemporary Books. Based in Chicago, IPG represents high quality, com- mercial book publishers and is one of the largest distributors of trade books in North America. IPG sells to the book trade as well as teacher supply stores, museum shops, mass merchandisers, gift shops, and other specialty wholesale and retail accounts. In 2007 IPG added the Trafalgar Square Publishing list, made up of most of the UK’s major publishing houses as well as the best independent publishers in the UK. In 2009 IPG started the Small Press United division to provide high level distribution to small and start-up publishers.
