Ron Powers joined Lightning Source in 2006 as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Powers has over 20 years experience as an execu- tive in both book publishing and distribution. Prior to joining Lightning Source, Mr. Powers held key executive positions at Ingram Book Group. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Product Management and Merchandise, where he managed


publishers in the trade, professional, and educational segments of the industry. Earlier in his career, Mr. Powers held the positions of President of Book Publish- ing Group at CRC Press and Editorial Director of the Professional Book Group at McGraw Hill. Ron received his BA from King College in 1975. He is married with one daughter and resides in Nashville.
