High efficiency condensing boilers
Clients of Salford Council’s Fit City, Eccles began to feel the chill, when ageing boilers at the fitness centre started leaking. Three Remeha Gas 210 (6) were used to replace the old system. The floor standing, high efficiency, fully condensing boilers are renowned for their ultra low NOx emission. The most powerful in the range, the output of the Gas 210 (6) model delivers 39-200kW.

Slip resistance for terraces
John Ferneley High School in Melton Mowbray has used John Brash’s JB Antislip Plus decking to create a safe, slip resistant surface for pupils. The decking was installed on two teaching terraces and on a platform that borders the School’s green roof. Resin based aggregate inserts are injected into grooves in the deck boards to enhance slip resistance.

Ultra efficient brazed heat exchanger
AC500 is an ultra-efficient Alfa Laval brazed heat exchanger developed for air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump applications, claiming a 20% increase in cooling capacity compared to many products. With a single and double refrigerant circuit, the AC500 is suitable for chillers in the 200-600 kW range and particularly as an evaporator and a condenser in both chillers and heat pumps.
