Are you sitting comfortably?

In many BSF projects, schools are expected to be a community hub and all space therefore must be flexible so it can serve a wide variety of uses and purposes as well as an ever changing curriculum. Flexible seating solutions are a key consideration in these multipurpose spaces.

ESIGNS can include auditoria seating, lecture theatre seating, demountable and telescopic

systems, flat floor systems, portable seating, fixed chairs, benches and staging products. Used alone or in combination, these seating products give schools the flexibility they need to create adaptable spaces in a cost effective manner. An increasingly common sight in school

halls, theatres, sports facilities and even atria is retractable seating – a complete set of tiering that folds away to free the space for other uses. Retractable seating can be combined with other seating products – for example, fixed seating in a balcony arena and removable seating in a

‘stalls’ area to provide a complete, flexible, seating layout – be it using plastic chairs, upholstered chairs or benches.

Design stage
