Tuesday 22nd
The Church should be a community in which the beauty of ordinariness is
revealed, because in our God, whose centre is everywhere and whose
circumference is nowhere, no one should feel on the edge.

In the liturgy the ordinary is consecrated and made the place of divine

As we approach our Christmas services let us make them real places of divine
encounter.
Thursday 24th –Christmas Eve
On the eve of Jesus’ birth Mary and Joseph were still travelling, the Magi
were still travelling, and we are still travelling now – towards our destiny,
our hope, our rebirth in Christ our Saviour.
Friday 25th –Christmas Day
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: the virgin will be with child and
will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14
