Monday 2nd – All Souls’ Day
We give back to you, O God, those whom you gave to us. You did not lose
them when you gave them to us and we do not lose them by their return to
you. William Penn.
Tuesday 3rd
Today we pray for the souls of all the departed who have died alone and
unloved. May they enjoy the eternal happiness of being with God
forever.
Wednesday 4th
If ever I saw a blessing in the air,
I see it now in this still early day
where lemon-grass the vaporous morning drips

Thursday 5th
On bended knee I come to you Lord, in the depths of my despair rescue
me; hold me in my pain; comfort me in my agony; let me stay close to you
until the end of my tears.
Friday 6th
Joy in simplicity lasts longer than the big adventures because often it visits us
entirely by surprise; this joy is not premeditated or planned, it is not filled with
expectations – it simply is beautiful in the moment it happens; it is grace-filled
for what it is.
Saturday 7th
God of mystery and presence, fill us with the understanding of your spirit
within our souls so that, filled by you, in the darkest moments of our
lives, no deprivation can ever leave us destitute.
