Pray for women and their partners facing pregnancy crises. Ask that they
might be given full information about the options open to them, together
with the love and support they need to be able to make the right decisions.
Tuesday 20th
God our counsellor, we lift to you all those who are currently affected by
issues of marriage and divorce. Please help them to approach their
situations with honesty, forgiveness, humility and compassion. We pray
that they will be guided by your love.
Wednesday 21st
Pray for those who are confronted with difficult ethical decisions in the work
place. Ask God to give them clarity of thought and the strength to take the
right action. Pray that relationships with their colleagues will not be
damaged.
Thursday 22nd
Light of the world, we pray for all who are confused about their sexuality
at this time. Guide and support them, their families and friends, and help
them to find places of safety and understanding where they can share
and resolve their worries.
Friday 23rd
Lord, we thank you for the hospice movement. Give guidance to those who
administer and advise, give wisdom to those who listen and counsel, give
gentleness and patience to those who nurse the terminally ill.
Saturday 24th
Pray for all carers, guardians, social workers, doctors, nurses and
scientists who have to make decisions on behalf of others. Ask God to
give them wisdom and compassion in their thinking and actions.
