Teacher/Learner Activity 1 – Make a Short “End Bullying” Advertisement:
• Divide students into groups of 3 to 5.
• Hand out, review, and discuss Resource F, including notes from the
review above.
• Have groups create a short “End bullying” advertisement following the
guidelines from Resource F.
• When students are ready, ask them to film their advertisements.
• Ask groups to show their films.
• This lesson may be broken up into more than one session to allow time for
the filming and the showing.
Reflection/Ideas to Discuss:
Discuss any issues raised from their filmed advertisements. Use the following prompts to
engage students
• Should we report bullying when we see it?
• Do bullies need help, too?
• How does it feel to be bullied?
• Can we solve bullying through nonviolence?
• Who can we contact, within the school and outside of school, to get help
with bullying?
