SPECIAL: Secret Service Agent Speaks Out 60 Years After JFK’s Killing

RFK Jr.’s Quest

He wants to change the rules for 2024, win the presidency, and remake America.

WE NEED CHANGE, BUT NOT RFK JR. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “wants to change the rules for 2024, win the presidency, and remake America.” (“RFK Jr.’s Quest,” October) Don’t presidential candidates always say this? Barack Obama promised “Hope and Change”; Donald Trump, “Drain the Swamp.” Joe Biden was going to (re)unite us. Why this obsession that America needs remaking? The U.S. is just fi ne. Tell me one country that doesn’t have problems.

America doesn’t need to be “remade,” it just needs refurbishing. His laundry list of conspiracy theories is beyond disturbing; even his sister says in your profi le his “conspiracy mongering not only creates more divisiveness, it puts people’s lives in danger.” almira lisebourne Salt Lake City, Utah

I believe RFK Jr. off ers the only hope for this country. Republicans and Democrats spend their time squabbling over issues the American public doesn’t care about. They are incapable of governing and moving this country forward in this time of peril. Now more than ever we need a fresh approach and new ideas. muriel brown Denver, Colo.

I’ll admit RFK Jr. is a tad eccentric, but don’t we always react negatively to anyone who asks us to see things diff erently? Remember, his father, Robert F. Kennedy, once quoted George Bernard Shaw (in 1968): “Some men see things as they are and ask why. Others dream things that never were and ask why not.” robert dellhuen Boston, Mass.

JEWISH CONTRIBUTIONS It is a shocking and sad sight to see the ugly ignorance of antisemitism pouring out of our places of “higher education,” as well as in street protests. There is not one person demonstrating who has not been blessed and benefi ted from what Jewish scientists have done globally.

6 NEWSMAX | DECEMBER 2023

Millions all over the world were dying from diabetes and many “blue babies” were born who would surely die from diabetes. It was Dr. Oskar Minkowski who discovered insulin; hepatitis was rampant, and Baruch Blumberg discovered a vaccine for it; Dr. Selman Waksman discovered a much-needed cure for syphilis. Some state health departments had a separate offi ce for venereal diseases and a full-time person to run it. Dr. Albert Sabin discovered the polio pill, and Dr. Jonas Salk discovered the polio vaccine. These are just a sample of some of the medical advances made by Jews. They made many more. Jesus was a Jew. His compassion changed history for the better.

NINCOMPOOPS IN CHARGE America can’t survive another term of President Joe Biden, yet where is the alternative? The GOP, which I have supported all my life, has become lazy, introspective, and entitled. The GOP fi ddles while America burns and Marxist Democrats thwart Republicans at every battle. America is being led

by nincompoops! But just to whom should we turn to for real leadership? anita lee Lexington, N.C.

WASTE OF TIME Impeaching Joe Biden is a waste of time and taxpayer money since Democrats hold a Senate majority and any trial will end in acquittal. (“Biden Impeachment Probe Poses Real Risk for GOP,” October) Americans, please take note: The only way to evict him from the White House is by voting him out next November.

‘WOKE’ SCHOOLS For years, we have handed over too much decision-making to the federal government, particularly when it comes to our children’s education. As long as Democrats control the U.S. Senate, we can expect parents to be pushed aside, labeled “domestic terrorists” while their kids continue to be remade by gender-fi xated Orwellian visionaries. (“We Do Not Co-Parent With the Government,” November) beatrice merganthaler St. Louis, Mo.
