anchor desk or out chasing a story, he enjoys golfi ng and skiing, as well as try- ing to give back to his community. He was involved in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program in Philadelphia. Brooks is one of three siblings in


a close-knit, Catholic family. He is extremely proud of the family business — his father serves as a funeral direc- tor and is transitioning the role to his brother.

McBride comes to Newsmax from CBS af iliate WUSA-TV in Washington, D.C., where she served as a news and sports anchor.
