DREAM WORLD John Fund’s article (“Make America Build Again!” May) contains a message that conservatives would likely rather not hear, especially as seen in the quote by progressive columnist Matthew Yglesias, “Places like Singapore have nice infrastructure systems because they have pro-saving public policies and effective cost-controls on construction projects.” The upshot is infrastructure improvements require the government and private sector working together. Until this happens, infrastructure improvements and overhauls will remain a dream about an imaginary future. william markstell Hartford, Conn.

SPOILED BRATS These college students who embrace Hamas terrorists are just spoiled brats without one ounce of common sense. It’s not enough that they are wasting their parents’ money, but they are wasting their own education. Stupid is as stupid does. (“Standing Strong for Israel,” March)

barbara m. wood Osterville, Mass.

If these students are such big fans of Hamas, why don’t they go live in the Middle East and see just how liberal

and free those societies are? I bet you they would be begging to come home within days!

sadie ross Philadelphia, Pa.

Seeing all the so-called college professors arrested for taking part in campus protests explains why this country’s education system is such a mess. How did these ignorant individuals, with their crazy left-wing agendas, ever get hired to teach our youngsters? It reminds me of my father’s adage: “Those that can, do. Those that can’t, teach.”

reggie smythe Newark, N.J.

If these elitist college students had half a brain or an ounce of decency, they’d be demanding the release of the hostages being held by Hamas — not supporting a bloodthirsty terror group that uses and abuses its own people as human shields. Do these ignorant kids know that

if they acted up this way in most Middle Eastern countries they would spend years in prison? Just ask the brave young people of Iran who have been beaten and imprisoned just for dancing in public.
