ome of joe biden’s biggest Democrat donors have been linked to funding anti-Israel protests this spring that dis-
rupted college campuses nationwide. Two groups backing the turmoil
that gripped Columbia University and other campuses were Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow, according to an investigation by Politico. Both are supported by the Tides Foundation, which is seeded by Dem- ocrat megadonor George Soros and was previously supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Polit- ico reported. A spokesperson for Open Society Foundations, of which Soros is the founder and chairman, said it “has funded a broad spectrum of U.S. groups that have advocated for the rights of Palestinians and Israelis and for peaceful resolution to the conflict in Israel.” The Bill and Melinda Gates Foun-
dation said it no longer supports Tides, Jewish Voice for Peace, or IfNotNow. Politico found that another promi- nent Democrat donor whose philan-
thropy has helped fund the protest movement is David Rockefeller Jr., who sits on the board of the Rock- efeller Brothers Fund. It has given nearly $500,000 over
the past five years directly to Jewish Voice for Peace, which describes itself as anti-Zionist. Several other groups involved in pro-Palestinian protests have been supported by a foundation funded by Susan and Nick Pritzker, heir to the Hyatt Hotel empire, who recently gave $6,600 to Biden’s 2024 campaign. The donations have drawn criti-
cism from other Democrat supporters. “Why is the Rockefeller Fund giv-
ing significant grants to Jewish Voice for Peace, [which] blamed the horrific Oct. 7 attacks on Israel and the United States rather than Hamas?” asked Eli- sha Wiesel, who chairs the Elie Wiesel Foundation, an organization that sup-
ports anti-genocide work. Meanwhile, billions of dollars from
overseas — particularly the Middle East — has poured into America’s most elite schools, raising alarm bells about foreign influence in the pro-Palestin- ian protests and the spread of anti- Israel and anti-American sentiments. “We should prohibit any funding
from enemies of the United States to schools, colleges, and universities,” said Jonathan Emord, a constitution- al law attorney and Republican candi- date for U.S. Senate in Virginia. “The antisemitic riots we saw
across the country are spawned from a well-orchestrated infiltration of those institutions by terrorist groups, among them Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and the Muslim Brother- hood.”
Emord warns that “what we see on
campus today is a prelude to what they intend for our cities and suburbs tomorrow.” According to Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), a New Jersey-based indepen- dent organization that identifies and forecasts cyber and social threats, foreign donors have flooded higher educa- tion institutions with billions of dollars for years — much of which

Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) had set up an encampment to protest “genocide” in the Hamas-Israel war in Gaza and demand that Yale divest from any fund that invests in Israel. “When we approached the
anti-Israel protest accompanying the tent encampment to
document the demonstration,” she wrote, “they shoved us and waved flashlights in our eyes.” At other universities
Jewish students and faculty were grabbed, spit upon, hit, and threatened while SJP groups marched and chanted about ramping up the violent
revolution or removing Jews “from the river to the sea.” According to the Anti-
Defamation League, 73% of Jewish students have experienced antisemitism on campus.

demonization of Jews and Zionists. It is also anti-American, with “Death to America” chants
