ing, and math). The Education Development Center Inc. spent $2.2 mil-
lion in taxpayer dollars on a “Latinx culturally responsive telenovela series.” The Worcester Polytechnic Institute received a $150,000
grant to research “conditions for inclusive spaces for LGBTQ engineering students.” There are thousands of examples of such destructive ideological warfare in the federal bureaucracy, all of which have increased with haste and fervor under Biden. But the damage inflicted on the American people is more
than just the target-rich programmatic line items worthy of being gutted. The cultural contamination perpetrated by critical race theory and “woke” dogma is aimed at corrupting the very heart of what good, patriotic citizens love most: life and duty to one’s nation. For example, the Biden administration has weapon-
ized the government against supporters of life as part of its unholy devotion to advance abortion on demand. This includes the arrest and prosecution of pro-life activ-
ists by the Department of Justice for praying outside abor- tion clinics while ignoring rampant left-wing violence and arson committed against pregnancy resource centers. Even the Department of Defense engages in flagrant
abortion tourism practices for female servicemembers — prioritizing the taxpayer-funded killing of unborn American babies as part of its responsibilities.
REV. FRANKLIN GRAHAM:
Boy Scouts Program Lost Its Way

he rev. franklin graham, leader of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, criticized
the Boys Scouts’ decision to change its name for the first time in its 114-year history to Scouting America. The organization announced the
name change in May, saying in a news release it reflects its “ongoing com- mitment to welcome every youth and family in America to experience the benefits of scouting.” The change will take effect Feb. 8,
2025, the organization’s 115th anni- versary. “Talk about losing your way — that’s the @BoyScouts,” Graham post-

ed on X. “They want to be more ‘inclu- sive,’ so they’re changing their name. “Being woke isn’t the need — stay-
ing focused & true to what God calls you to do is what’s important.” The name change came as the organization celebrated the fifth anni- versary of welcoming girls into Cub Scouting and Scouts BSA programs.
The Biden administration’s dedication to transforming
the DOD into a caricature of “woke” dogma at the expense of America’s national security is perhaps the most troubling. Under this administration, the Pentagon has prioritized discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) prac- tices over the men and women who have volunteered to risk their lives and limbs to protect our nation. Service and promotion are no longer about merit, but rather servitude to identity politics. The DOD’s emphasis on radical neo-Marxist ideologies
has distracted precious attention and resources from the unifying mission to defend the republic as recruiting woes continue to hollow out a once-proud U.S. Armed Forces. The Biden administration is a never-ending cycle of
“woke” and weaponized government — forever churning increasing amounts of taxpayer money toward the advance- ment of the progressive religion. Americans simply cannot afford four more years of debt
and “woke” dogma foisted on us by Biden. The Trump model is the fiscal and cultural vision that America needs at this critical juncture. It can renew our nation and restore a republic that once more puts the interests of its citizens first while nurturing a culture that is both virtuous and free.
Russ Vought was director of the Ofice of Management and Budget under President Donald Trump. He is now president of the Center for Renewing America.
The organizations said it serves more than 176,000 girls and young women across all programs, including more than 6,000 who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. “They should’ve just stuck with
what they were founded to be 114 years ago,” Graham wrote. “The Boy Scouts Oath says, ‘I will do my best to do my duty to God. “It’s no surprise that thousands of
parents are choosing other options like @TrailLifeUSA, which is a great Christ-centered alternative.” Trail Life USA is a faith-based orga-
nization launched in 2014 after the Boy Scouts decided to admit openly gay members. The group said on its web- site its mission is to “guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.” Although Trail Life USA requires
leaders to be confessing Christians, it said it welcomes boys of any or no faith tradition.
