though of course as people move up new people come in. Over the time we’ve all worked together, people have become steeped in the history of it and how to do things and make things work. And with that, they have grown in confidence.” This is especially important for the actors,
who tend to stay just one or two seasons, as it ensures they enter a space with people around them to guide them into things comfortably and quickly. Unsurprisingly, the logistics are
eye-watering.

“The level of endeavour is enormous.
Yesterday, for example, we had 200 extras down in Greenwich, and they’d been in make-up since 5am,” Casey continues.
