The highly qualified team of project managers, project coordinators, project engineers, designers and technicians is the strength and the achievement of more than 70 years of history. The administrative support covers all type of requests: legal assistance, insurance, crew needs to mention but a few with concierge and customer care offices ever present and active in Marina di Carrara and La Spezia 24/7: for each kind of request there is more than one solution. Our purpose is to make every guest’s stay enjoyable and comfortable.
NCA Refit represents one of the most important naval hubs of the Mediterranean for superyachts up to 180m in length with the shipyard in Marina di Carrara of approximately 120,000 sqm and the shipyard in La Spezia being 32,000 sqm.
NCA Refit stands out in the world of refit for a precise and punctual approach which includes a general check up upon entry into the shipyard, an assessment of the technical needs and the proposal of recommended upgrades, never losing sight of the deadlines and budgets, which are fundamental to be respected in the consideration of the right manufacturing processes.
During the 2023 season, one of the most interesting projects was the Tankoa 50m. Starting with electric propulsion, continuing with the complete refit of the interiors of both the guest and crew areas, the team moved on to the design and construction of the bow swimming pool in place of the pre- existing helipad, completing the exteriors with new furnishings and renovation of the bars, including general outfitting. This important project was carried out in just a few months with a very high concentration in terms of resources and time, obtaining the maximum satisfaction of our customer.
For the 2024 season we have already contracted interesting projects and we are evaluating important new challenges
that few others could manage. NCA Refit can boast of earning trust and enviable reputation in the yachting industry and to building solid inter-personal relationships with clients which go far beyond pure business interests.
NCA Refit offers a wide range of services including interiors restyling and re-design, full yacht repainting, exteriors/deck works: steelworks, teak, deck equipment, engineering, exteriors transformations and lengthening, exteriors re-design, upgrading AV/IT and NAV-COM systems, with specific services for sailing yachts such as staging masts, standing and running riggings and deck equipment.
