GenAir boosts low-emission fleet


GenAir UK, a hirer of compressed air systems and desiccant dryers, has placed orders for an additional 40 diesel sets to help customers comply with the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ) regulations. The company now has more than 70 of these machines in its hire fleet. The GenAir compressors


comprise ten 260cfm, twenty 400cfm and ten 600cfm sets, fitted into weatherproofed, noise attenuated canopies. They incorporate after-coolers and water separators to eliminate up to 70% of moisture for better air quality and improved performance. MD David Timmins says,


“This is an ongoing investment programme that will eventually reach upwards of £4m. This is


driven entirely by demand. We are sending our machines to all corners of the UK and far beyond.” The company has its head office in Wednesbury with two other depots in Motherwell and Slough.


Larger HQ for Point of Rental


Point of Rental Software has acquired a new home for its Texas headquarters, less than four miles from its current location. The company expects to move into the 35,000ft2


building later


this summer. The business currently has more


than 100 employees at its Fort Worth office and reports that it has tripled its worldwide staff in the last three years, having added offices in the UK (following the purchase of Higher Concept Software) and Australia. It says the new location will


enable it to grow and to continue its development plans.
