Portable power from Atlas Copco


Atlas Copco Power Technique will exhibit products from across its entire portfolio. The division states that it has a strong focus on portability, developing machines that are lighter and smaller, without compromising on power, including mobile air compressors, submersible and surface dewatering pumps, lighting towers and generators, along with hand-held tools. Equipment on show will include, the new E-Air compressor,


along with a selection of petrol, pneumatic and hydraulic light construction and demolition equipment.


Yanmar to highlight compact models


Compact plant models to be shown by Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe will include the SV60 midi excavator, pictured, which has an X-shaped undercarriage and is designed to minimise fuel consumption and to reduce operational emissions. It has Yanmar’s VIPPS hydraulic system for optimum speed, power and balance. Also on display will be the C30R-3TV tracked carrier


along with the SV08, ViO12, ViO17, SV18, SV18, SV26, ViO27-6, ViO50-6 and, SV100-2PB minis, and the C08 tracked carrier.


Finning to show new Cat minis


Finning UK & Ireland, the UK Caterpillar equipment dealer, will show models from the new range of Cat Next Generation mini excavators, which will be available for qualified operators to try out in the demonstration area. The machines, which are designed for improved performance and


easier maintenance, range between 1 and 10 tonnes. Tom Moss, Cat Compacts Product Manager for Finning UK


& Ireland, said, “We will also be showing off a range of our technology solutions, such as the VisionLink system, as well as introducing our updated Ready2Go retail proposition that will feature machines from the new Next-Generation range.”

GeoRipper makes the cut


GeoRipper will show its hand-held trencher that is claimed to be capable of cutting a clean, narrow trench up to 700mm deep in most types of ground. This reduces the need for back-filling and minimises ground disruption. Applications include laying fibre optic or low voltage cables and


water pipes for irrigation, root pruning, drainage and fencing installation in the landscaping and construction industries.
