PLANTWORX PREVIEW continued

Tracked Hinowa models from APS

Access Platform Sales (APS) will promote Hinowa’s Lightlift tracked booms which are mounted on a compact crawler chassis to facilitate work on soft ground and uneven terrain. The booms are self-propelled, meaning that the operator can drive them from the platform, or by remote control. Some models have widths as low as 0.76m, allowing them to fit through a garden gate or standard doorway. The machines are claimed to provide an unrestricted safe working

load of 230kg throughout the working envelope, which is sufficient lifting capacity for up to two people and tools. The Lightlift range currently includes models with 13m, 15m, 17m, 20m, 23m, 26m and 33m working heights.

Latest Bobcat innovations

Plantworx will see the first appearance in the UK of Bobcat’s new E10e electric mini excavator, designed for zero emissions and low noise, and to enable indoor working. With a width of just 71cm, the zero

tail swing machine can pass through standard doors and in and out of lifts. Bobcat is also introducing a remote control system as an original equipment

solution rather than being a third party add-on. It is compatible with compact loaders equipped with the company’s Selectable Joystick Controls, and will be commercially available later this year. The manufacturer believes that being able to control the loader from outside

the cab offers the user enhanced operational benefits in terms of visibility and communication. It can be mounted and dismounted in minutes, leaving behind the standard machine in its original form.

Point of Rental says it has more than 5,000 hire

company customers worldwide and they are encouraged to assist in the innovation process by making suggestions via uInnovate, an online feedback management system.

Innovate with Point of Rental

Point of Rental will promote its inventory and hire management software. Its four systems, as well as its PartyCAD and electronic signature solutions, are designed to provide powerful tools for hire businesses looking to streamline their operations. They offer mobile and cloud options, apps, and integrations with programs a company might already use.

Efficiency from Mecalac

Mecalac will show a number of new machines. These include the TV1200 tandem vibrating compaction roller, which has been designed to improve working efficiency and operator safety. Joystick steering is situated on the right console for more straightforward operation. Other models on the stand will include the new,

facelifted MCR tracked excavator, pictured, and a new 3-tonne cabbed site dumper.
