P&P LIVE! 2020 Review S

New styles and sought- after collections

tands E20, E30, and G10 were home to Henbury’s nine diverse brands, showcasing each brands’ new styles and sought-after collections. E20 hosted Henbury, Front Row & Co., Finden+Hales, and Tombo this year. Henbury's three Fit Shirts were once again a great hit among customers on the stand. Sustainability means a lot to Henbury Brands and it was fantastic being able to share the new eco- friendly shirt packaging with everyone: 10 items have been removed (that’s 77% of the packaging), leaving only three recyclable components made from recycled materials all while using fully reusable and recyclable plastic bags. Front Row & Co. also had great feedback with its new products on display. Customers shared the excitement of the brand taking a more fashion led approach this year with the FR905 Pullover Half Zip Jacket and the FR006 Panelled Quarter Zip sparking a lot of interest throughout.

The heat was turned up on the Tombo stand with the launch of the new Seamless Panelled Range, and it definitely lived up to its hype. The team loved seeing customers as passionate about the products as they are!

The new and modern look of Finden+Hales did not go unnoticed this year, which was as exciting and bold as the team hoped it would be. Interacting with visitors about the launch of some of the brand’s Colour Stories, and ever-popular tracksuit series was definitely a highlight of the show.

Across the aisle SF showcased its hottest picks in the Feel Good collection and athleisure wear along with the adorable twinning range fit for the whole family. With many new styles developed based on feedback from last year’s show, SF was excited to take all the comments aboard for future production ideas. In previous years stand G10 showcasing Mumbles, Larkwood and

Towel City has always had a buzz of excitement, it did not disappoint for 2020. With a new jungle inspired backdrop and lots of new products on show, visitors were sharing the team’s enthusiasm.

The new PrintMe MM060 collection for Mumbles went down a storm alongside the printing guidelines and on-stand printing demonstrations; visitors were left amazed at how successful the results were.

As always, the adorable baby and toddler clothing over on Larkwood caught everyone’s eye for the loveable designs and great fabric quality it delivers. With a new Organic Range launch, customers were delighted to learn that Larkwood was making such efforts with its contribution to sustainability including biodegradable bags. Turning the corner onto the tranquil Towel City stand the extension of the Satin Range was being heavily complimented as well as the addition of the TC059 Children’s Pyjamas to match the popular TC053 Ladies’ Pyjamas; ideal for beauty events and bridal parties. Finished off with continued attention to the large array of towels offered including the new Printable Towels range.

This was our first year exhibiting at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! for a while and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of customers – old and new –

that we met at the show. We were showcasing the HP Stitch S300 for the very first time at a UK trade show and, being the latest in dye sublimation technology, it grabbed a lot of people’s attention. We have had several follow up meetings and detailed demonstrations booked in at our Cheshire based facility immediately after the show. Overall, the show has proven to be a good platform to launch the entry level Stitch into the UK and Ireland market.

ust Cool by AWDis introduced an exciting eight new styles to the ever-growing range for 2020, much to the delight of visitors to stand F10.

The JC030 and JC035 Cool-Flex 1/2 zip top proved to be a stand out crowd pleaser as a sleek trans-seasonal base layer, as did the trend led JC053 Urban Sleeveless Muscle Hoodie as a fitness favourite. The two new ink blue and blush colourways added to the JC001 were very well received, with many customers keen to start adding these new additions to their existing colour portfolio.

Building a better future for the planet

É

cologie’s mission is to build a better future for the planet, without compromising on style and this message attracted a large number of curious visitors on stand F10 over the course of the three days, all eager to find out more about the brand’s unique new collection of tees, sweatshirts and knitwear created from 100% vegan approved environmentally friendly cotton sources. The hugely appreciated all the continued support and positive feedback they received at the show and it was promising to meet so many businesses that are getting serious about sustainability in 2020. The brand’s messaging clearly communicated its commitments for 2020 promising to never airfreight your favourite Écologie styles and shipping all orders plastic free.

Wow! We weren’t expecting that! What a great first day! We’ve had a fantastic response to all our ranges of towels, and orders were already being emailed into our offices ready for the Monday morning

after the first day. We exhibited for the first time with our ranges of plain towels for embroiderers, and blank towels for dye sublimation printers, along with ready printed towels in 13 sizes from sizes 30x30cm up to 100x180cm. The second day was even busier than the first, and although the last day was quieter, we had quality visitors to our stand from start to finish. Thanks everyone. We’ll be back!
