P&P LIVE! 2020 Review Four winners of £10,000 giveaway announced

bsolute Apparel had an incredible raffle on at this year’s Printwear & Promotion LIVE!, with each visitor having a chance to win one of four huge prizes, worth over £10,000! The prizes and winners were as follows: ● Last Night of Freedom – A pallet of Original Tech Tees from Casual Classics. ● Custom Planet – A pallet of Iconic Tees from Fruit of the Loom. ● Revolution – A pallet of Authentic Hooded Sweatshirts from Russell. ● CMP Embroidery – A pallet of Hammer Softshell Jackets from Gildan. Sanjay Jheinga, commercial director, Absolute Apparel, said: “The response to the raffle was overwhelming. We knew it would be a big hit with over £10,000 worth of prizes, but we weren’t expecting such a high number of entries. We’re thankful for the support from our brands Casual Classics, Fruit of the Loom, Gildan and Russell. Congratulations to the four lucky winners!”

The PenCarrie stand created a real buzz right at the heart of the show. Our new Sustainable & Organic range was a popular choice, and our dedicated business development team was on hand throughout to meet our guests and provide advice and guidance (often over a glass of bubbly!).


The sneak preview of our brand-new upcoming website proved to be a huge hit too.


There was expert tuition and advice from our resident decoration expert and PenCarrie Academy co-ordinator Lewis Wotton. Lewis hosted live print demos and discussed the challenges of dye migration among other practical issues. He also ran a weeding competition using the new super quick MT017 vinyl, which brought out a healthy competitive streak in quite a few of our guests (the fastest time was an amazing 32 seconds)!


Paul Edwards, an expert member of the Supacolour team was an honoured guest at the PenCarrie stand, taking visitors through the subject of ‘the future of heat transfers’. Our exclusive brands Next Level and SOL’s were showcasing new styles on their respective stands, including SOL’S new Ready- to-Print range (RTP) and the Festival range from Next Level. Then, to top it all off, we had the PenCarrie WIN BIG competition, where customers had the chance of winning an extraordinary experience voucher with PenCarrie as well as exciting prizes from our brands, including SOL’S, Next Level and Tee Jays. Big congratulations to our prize winners! All in all, it truly was a standout show. The incredible feedback we’ve had from our visitors has made all the hard work worthwhile. We absolutely loved meeting you all and discussing your plans for making the most of the year ahead.


Printing press premier T


his year at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! Adelco premiered in the UK the Automatic Cyclone Printing Press, generating a great deal of interest with superb feedback. The quality of build and the price point hit a nerve with competitors. Adelco also demonstrated the Spyder II DTS system and vertical exposure unit that enables screens to be shot in register and loaded directly into the printer, almost eliminating screen adjustment and greatly reducing set up times. Also on stand, was Adelco’s range of hot air dryers, all exceptionally economical, with advanced airflow, and infeed/outfeed oven extraction hoods, making them the most advanced textile dryers in the world. The Thermotron folding machines also generated plenty of interest with its quality and speedy solution to the packing process.
