And finally in terms of new embroidery machines seen at the exhibition, Amaya Sales UK was demonstrating the new Melco EMT16X, which created great interest in its modular design and efficient production. The Melco has always been the fastest multi-head available, but the new enhancements allow for increased production. Visitors looking for something a little different to add to their existing embroidery set up should have made a beeline for Stocks Embroidery Solutions. Stocks demonstrated the new single bead device from ZSK. This device is suitable for most ZSK embroidery machines and can be positioned on either the left or right side. It can handle beads with a curved surface shape, as well as a flat surface.

On YES Ltd’s second stand, visitors could find the world’s first 20 needle single-head and multi-head embroidery machines from Ricoma UK. The new Ricoma MT series provides users with a standard range of 12 colours, leaving eight needles free for those one-off jobs. This makes the machine more flexible and in turn the user more profitable. John-Paul Burton, sales director,
