Dimensions raises five-figure sum for trio of charities in 2019 I


n 2019, Dimensions raised a total of £10,665 for three charities during a year of fundraising.


Beneficiaries of the monies totalled were; Doorways Derby, Derbyshire Mind, and Save the Children. Activities in 2019 saw a variety of fundraising take place across the business, from samosa days and staff running the Great North Run, to a summer fete and annual festive fun. All three beneficiaries do incredible work to better the lives of people locally, nationally and worldwide.


Doorways Derby is a non-profit charity aiming to help clothe, feed and enhance the lives of homeless people living in Derby. The £2706.10 will be put towards the running costs of a new van. Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential, around the world, with Dimensions monies being used to help support their operations. The charity received £3,340.87.


And last, but certainly not least, Derbyshire Mind does fantastic work in

hil Oakley has been appointed as the new UK and Ireland sales manager for Kornit Digital. Mr Oakley joined Kornit on Monday, February 3 having spent 17 years in key business leadership roles. Most recently he held the position of UK and Ireland regional business manager for large format printing, which saw him develop and direct strategic sales initiatives within partner channels and oversee the placement of products in both CAD and graphics

Screenworks appoints new IT director to improve efficiency

avid Bailey has been brought onboard at Screenworks as IT director as part of the business’s strategic investment in technology.


Mr Bailey has been brought in to take the business to the next level of efficiency. As part of this new IT department, Screenworks has created an internal role of IT manager for long-standing team member, Dan Porter, to work alongside Mr Bailey. This investment reflects the business’s focus on technology

It’s not enough to keep up-to-date in today’s world, you need to be ahead of the curve to flourish.” Mr Bailey is introducing into Screenworks an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) suite of software. Single data entry will be implemented across the whole business, improving efficiency and communication.
