Focus on DTG Printing DAVE ROPER See it to believe it Y

ou may have seen Dave Roper at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! back in February this year, and if you did

you would have seen the companyʼs fantastic direct to garment machine, the M&R M-Link. There are two types of machines in this particular series, with the M-Link X being the quicker printer of the two printing whites in 30-45 seconds and blacks in less than a minute, compared to the standard M-Link printing whites in 45-60 seconds and blacks in under three minutes. M&Rʼs i-Color RIP quickly converts digital art files into printed images with amazingly sharp text and line art with remarkable blending and photographic transitions Popular print modes include Single-Pass Mode for printing on whites, colours, and blacks, as well as a single-pass highlight option. White Mode prints CMYK without underbase on whites and lights. Color One-Pass Mode prints a gradated white

Easy access to great digital printing equipment

W

ith MHMʼs modern Brother Digital Printing Studio and Academy, itʼs never been easier to get access to great digital printing equipment.

Direct, hands on experience is the only way to properly evaluate which DTG printers and processes are right for you. A visit to MHMʼs showroom can provide you with precisely that experience, enabling you to see your own artwork printed right there in front of you and even getting to have a go yourself. Seeing your ideas come to life and being part of that process can really aid you in your decision-making process when it comes to DTG equipment. The Brother GT-3 Series of printers give you endless possibilities and they are capable of printing onto garments, bags, canvas shoes, caps and many more items. As an award winning Brother DTG re-seller, MHMʼs expert

staff will be on hand to guide you through all aspects of the process, showing you the various options and possibilities available. With many open days throughout the year and one to one sessions also available, the team aims to help, educate and train both new and existing customers to maximise their profit- making potential.

underbase and CMYK on colour shirts. Black One-Pass Mode prints a gradated white underbase and CMY on blacks, using the shirtʼs colour for black areas. Highlight Mode prints CMYK plus white highlight without underbase on light- colour shirts with light pre-treatment. The combination of ink-saving print modes and the bulk-ink supply system give M-Link and M-Link X the lowest cost per print among DTG printers. And operators can use the built-in ink calculator to estimate the per-print job cost without needing to print a shirt. In fact, operators can generate total job estimates in less than a minute. However, it doesnʼt stop there. M&R has

now introduced the DigitalSqueegee, you will need to see it to believe it. Currently M&R is inviting companies to visit M&R Roselle to print their designs on the DigitalSqueegee which will then be available to buy later on in the year. This is

a hybrid system where the DigitalSqueegee works with an automatic press to create an amazing printed effect. The formal European launch of M&R's DigitalSqueegee will take place at FESPA 2017 May 8 to 12, where you will also be able to meet some of Dave Roperʼs guys there too.
