P&P LIVE! 2017 review

Firstly, we would like to thank everyone for stopping by our stand and taking the

time to talk to us. It was great to hear that so many people are interested in screen printing, whether itʼs from their home or on a larger scale with automatic machinery. Our screen printing packages proved pretty popular, and so did the M&R M-Link. We know you would have got bombarded with information at the show, so if you need any more information about what we offer please get in touch. Save the date! This month we are holding another Open Day on Friday, April 28. If you need to view equipment or take a look at our consumables again before you purchase, then this is a great opportunity to do so. The kettle is always on, and youʼre always welcome. We will see you all again soon.

One of the best shows in Europe

R

ussell Europe was at the show with its entire product range. The companyʼs new HD Sweats

Collection certainly proved a real draw for buyers and there was also a lot of interest in the expanded Authentic Sweats range, Made to Match Collection and perennial favourite Jerzees Schoolgear. Visitors were delighted by the return of Russell Europe to the P&P LIVE! fashion show catwalk and by the garment samples they were able to take away. The Russell Europe marketing team said: “The quality of the visitors at P&P LIVE! is excellent. For our brand, this is one of the best shows in Europe.”

Visitors mesmerised by new products

For the second year running, Eskimo EPOS enjoyed a successful time at

T

he latest addition to the GS UK Merlin Pro range of embroidery machines was launched at Printwear

& Promotion LIVE! The GS1502 twin head machine drew a large amount of interest, visitors were mesmerised by the speed and high quality stitching. The GS1502 received interest both as a starter machine and also as a second machine to grow an existing business. Sales manager Sean Barker was delighted with the level of interest. He said: “We knew it would be a popular machine and are very pleased with the positive feedback and orders resulting from the show.” Another attraction on the GS UK stand

that drew a lot of interest was the addition of hand held bar code scanners attached to the embroider machines. Scanning a bar code printed onto a run sheet demonstrated how quickly and efficiently designs could be loaded onto the touchscreen ready for embroidering. The Brother PR machines were also

kept busy embroidering directly onto Cubbies bears. This also met with a lot of interest and showed visitors the benefit of Fast Frames combined with Filmoplast and Solvy. The GS Supplies Info desk is always a very busy area of the stand and this year was no exception. Complementing the various embroidery machines was the Brother GT-3 direct to garment printer. The GS Print Station showed just how simple and cost effective it can be for people to print their own garments.

Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2017 was felt as a great success for Team Prestige. We were thrilled by the quality of visitors to our stand. This year we expanded over two stands which gave us greater

interaction with our customers. Having iPads provided the opportunity to showcase the services we offer, and allowed visitors to get involved and try things themselves. This sparked great interest as visitors were able to navigate our website, experience online services such as the Brochure Creator and find out more about the customer websites we provide. Itʼs immensely satisfying knowing that visitors to our stand have left knowing that we have tools available to help them grow their business. It was also a great opportunity to see how the garments new to our collection for 2017 were received. The feedback was excellent with customers appreciative of having some tips and examples available. Printwear & Promotion LIVE! is not to be missed. Our time there is so valuable, and we are already buzzing with ideas on what we can be doing for next year.

Promotion LIVE! this year. The Everyday 24/7 range was very popular. Launched in late 2015 with six different colour combinations ED24/7 has now increased to 11 different options for 2017. Seen by many as ʻbespoke workwear off the pegʼ, thereʼs a range of garments and colours to satisfy all corporate requirements regardless of the size of workforce youʼre looking to kit out. Visitors to the stand also got a sneak preview of the highly anticipated Dickies Pro range due to launch this month. Over two years in the making the range is spearheaded by the Pro Trouser. A highly technical and ergonomic garment aimed as the name suggests, the professional tradesman. Available in a range of colours and complemented by T shirts, jackets, caps and belts backed up with full in store POS options it looks to be a very busy year ahead for Dickies stockists. Rob Haines, UK sales director for Dickies, said: “Judging by the reaction at the event our customers are just as excited about the new products as we are. We would also like to thank everyone that visited us.”

very exciting leads and had some very promising conversations with potential customers, a number of which have already agreed to further meetings. The show was also a chance to meet up with some of our existing clients and go over future plans for development within the Eskimo EPOS offering. As always we found the organisers

had done a great job in making the whole exhibition run smoothly.
