Dimensions raised over £37,000 for charity. As part of the companyʼs corporate social responsibility policy, employees were encouraged to raise money through fun activities such as dress down days, bake sales and car washes. Of the grand fundraising total, £32,000 was split equally between Dimensionsʼ chosen partners for the year, Cancer Research UK and Glory Friendship Social Welfare Organisation, a school in Bangladesh which Dimensions has been working closely with over the past four years.

Tracey Jones, local fundraising manager for Cancer Research UK, said: “We are extremely grateful for all the time and effort invested by Dimensionsʼ staff and customers. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has fundraised towards this impressive total.” Following a series of coffee mornings in November, £2,500 was donated to Macmillan Cancer Support and the remaining £2,500 was split between various charities including Children in Need, Jeans for Genes, Save the Children and The Poppy Appeal after raising money through dress down days on nationally recognised fundraising days.

been a dream of mine – and most designers in fact – to be in control of the whole design process: from producing the

fabric design, to choosing the fabric and printing it and creating the finished outfit. Epson has enabled me to realise this dream and Iʼm not going back now.” Mr Herrera adopts a no-waste, no plastic approach and puts a lot of importance on reducing waste in his work. He added: “With digital textile printing, we only use the exact volume of fabric. Instead of wasting five yards of fabric to do a lay out for a dress, we use only one and a half yards of digitally printed fabric. Digital textile printing significantly cuts fabric wastage. Faster, more intelligent, almost zero wastage – thatʼs what Epson brings to the table.”
