Kingly partners with Polygiene K
ingly recently partnered with Polygiene to distribute 560 towels to children at the TSV Trudering sports club in Germany.
Every towel features the Polygiene StayFresh odour-control solution, so they can be washed less frequently.. The initiative was the brainchild of Polygiene’s global category director of sport & outdoor, Markus Hefter. As a father of three children and a handball coach at TSV Trudering, Mr Hefter has fi rst-hand experience with the mountains of laundry kids’ participation in sports generates. Rob Armour, CEO and founder of Kingly, said: “Preserving vital resources is a core value for all of us at Kingly. We have been using Polygiene StayFresh for
years when producing upcycled sports socks and activewear for our clients. “When we received Markus’ request to supply the towels, we immediately decided to partly sponsor the initiative. As a company we wanted to contribute to Polygiene’s environmental savings even further.”
The towels have the highest earth- friendly score validated by BCome’s Cradle to Gate sustainability platform. The branded gifts produced by Kingly consist of 70% organic cotton and 30% recycled PET polyester, according to the Global Recycled Standard. Normally, 41 litres of water go into the production of a single towel and 3.5kg of CO2 are emitted. 84% of that water is saved and 27% of carbon emissions are prevented from polluting the atmosphere. Typically, the club’s towels are washed after every use. However, the anti- bacterial, odour-control qualities enable you to skip every other wash. Based on a wash in a standard 6kg washing machine, this saves: 2 kWh in total (0.6 kWh per wash and 3.6 kWh for drying).

and in-depth technical know-how on all aspects of screen printing also ensure that students truly grasp the ‘why’ and not just the ‘how’.
The Business Mastery part of the programme covers seven modules that include sales, marketing and scaling a business, to name a few. Many screen printers get by on rudimentary technical skills and have no business training, leaving them struggling to grow. Dalesway aims to give screen printers the skills to build a thriving business. The company also offers an in-depth session on Pricing Mastery to help printers set prices in a logical and well-thought-out manner rather than merely undercutting the competition.
Screen Print Mastery also offers monthly live group support calls as part of the package, with further options to book 1:1 coaching sessions at reduced rates with the Dalesway team.
